Wilderness Inquiry's Disability Database
Wilderness Inquiry has developed a database of disabilities that are common among youth. The database gives a brief description of 40 types of disabilities, with links to more information, to deepen understanding of a disability. Remember that each individual is unique, and while there may be typical characteristics of a disability, each person may have different needs…or possibly none at all. Sometimes a simple accommodation or adaptation can be used to make young people with disabilities feel more included.
